HAWKEYE PILBARA
Hawkeye Pilbara is a pioneering partnership between Hawkeye Services and Yurra, a majority-owned Yindjibarndi First Nation business.
This collaboration unites Hawkeye’s Engineering Surveying and Project Management expertise with Yurra’s deep cultural roots and community-driven business practices.
More than just a business venture, Hawkeye Pilbara is about creating real opportunities—supporting Indigenous participation, fostering career growth, and ensuring sustainable economic benefits for the people and communities of the Pilbara.
A Partnership Built on Strong Foundations
Hawkeye Pilbara is the result of a decade-long relationship between Hawkeye Services and Yurra.
From the very first discussions between Michael Woodley (Yindjibarndi Nation CEO), Wayne Hourquebie (Hawkeye Services Managing Director), and Liam Wilson (Yurra Group Managing Director), it was clear that both businesses shared a common vision—leveraging surveying services to create pathways for training, employment, and long-term success within Indigenous communities.
Fast forward to 2025/26, and that vision has become a reality. Hawkeye Pilbara is now actively delivering projects, building commercial relationships, and shaping a future where Indigenous participation and professional excellence go hand in hand.
